Michele Guigon cross examines her life on stage in a monologue that spares nothing. Her face at times hidden, at times illuminated on a large stage that she occupies alone, her words cast an unflinching light on questions that sound important, until her impertinent answers have the audience laughing at subjects that could easily have had them crying instead.

Julien Cottereau's pedigree is impeccable, if short: he was the miming clown, Eddy, in Saltimbanco, the show from the Cirque du Soleil which ran from 1994 to 2005. Since 1998 he's been doing stuff for himself as well, and this has led to the development of his own show, "Imagine-Toi", which has been running since October 2008 at the Théâtre des Bouffes Parisiens.

Laurent Gerra is a comedian and impersonator. The characters he caricatures are largely from the political or entertainment arena, and he's been doing it (apparently) since he was five years old. In 1998, he impersonated Jacques Chirac's New Years speech to the French people, and was deemed so convincing that the press gave him more airtime than the speech itself. He's a regular at the Olympia, and we can expect him to warm to an audience that knows him well.
Following on from his previous work, Laurent Flingue la Tele, where he impersonated characters from the world of television, we can expect a number of send-ups of famous singers and musicians. For a taster, you can see a clip of him impersonating Celine Dion by clicking here. |
